The DOS recently released the April 2023 Visa Bulletin. The new bulletin, in addition to final action dates and filing dates, contains notes on EB-2 retrogression, final action date for F2A, EB-4 retrogression, and more.
USCIS determined that applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart, and applicants in all employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart.
The main highlights:
- Next month, EB-1 India and China will maintain their Final Action cutoff date of February 1, 2022.
- The EB-2 Worldwide Final Action date will retrogress by four months, to July 1, 2022.
- The EB-2 India, Final Action date, will retrogress by eight months, to January 1, 2011, and the EB-2 China, Final Action date, will remain June 8, 2019.
- The EB-3 India Professional/Skilled Worker Final Action date will remain at June 15, 2012, and the EB-3 China, Professional/Skilled Worker category will advance by three months to November 1, 2018
