  • Final Action dates
    • EB-2 China remains unchanged with a cut-off date of March 1, 2019, and EB-3 China remains unchanged with a cut-off date of March 22, 2018.
    • EB-2 India advanced by 1 year to September 1, 2014, and EB-3 India remains unchanged with a cut-off date of January 15, 2012.
  • Dates of filing
    • EB-2 China remains unchanged with a cut-off date of April 1, 2019, and EB-3 China remains unchanged with a cut-off date of April 1, 2018.
    • EB-2 India remains unchanged with a cut-off date of December 1, 2014, and EB-3 India remains unchanged with a cut-off date of January 22, 2012.
B. No significant changes in dates for filing chart for India and other countries
C. No significant changes in Family-based visa numbers due to a severe backlog at Consulates
D. As of May 13, adjustment of status filing charts for June are not yet available
E. F-2A spouses and children of Permanent Residents might retrogress in August
  • As per the Visa Bulletin-in, the July 2019 Visa Bulletin advised that the F2A category was made current to increase the level of demand and encourage applicants to actively pursuing final action on their cases. The item also advised that once large numbers of F2A applicants did begin to have their cases brought to final action, it would be necessary to establish a date to keep the number used within the annual limit.
  • The number used in the F2A category has remained steady throughout FY-2022 and it may be necessary to establish an F2A final action date as early as August. This situation is being continually monitored and any necessary adjustments will be made accordingly.
