I currently hold an H-1B visa with a valid expiration date of December 15, 2024. My I-94 also matches this date. Recently, my employer successfully applied for an extension of my H-1B visa, which is effective starting from December 16, 2024. I have an upcoming visa stamping appointment in Canada on November 30. I am unsure about the process upon my return to the U.S. with my newly stamped passport. Will I be issued a new I-94? If so, what will be the start date of the new I-94? Will it align with the effective date of my extended H-1B visa (December 16, 2024), or will it follow a different timeline? I am little bit tense, please guide me
