I have regarding taking a break when on H1B status. If I have my H1b approved in October with an employer and got it stamped from at home country. It has been 7 months on my h1b status so far. For family reasons, I am exploring to move bback to home country for a brief period which puts me in a position to quit current employer and start a new job in home country. Say in future I decide to come back to US can I use my reminder period ofH1B status by interviewing and getting an offer with sponsoring company and reactivate my H1B. Or do I need to go through the lottery process again. Could you please clarify on this? Thank you!
